About the Artist
I am a true creative spirit who has experimented over many years with many different mediums. At this time I am immersed in the process of working various metals into "one of a kind" fashion statement pieces for women. Inspired by vintage notions and memories of the past I work hard to bring a nostalgic feel to my designs.
Designing jewelry has been an interest of mine since 2007 and I have arrived where I am today by studying under many talented artists and spending a lot of time in my studio enjoying the creative journey.
I have always been involved in creative work. Receiving my interior design degree from Florida State University in 1988 led me to become a licensed interior designer. I am a licensed full time commercial interior designer for a large Jacksonville, Florida corporation. Since 2012 I have been a co-owner of Amiro Art and Found, an eclectic art gallery, located in downtown St. Augustine, Florida. I continue to grow and explore different metals and designs and mediums to keep my art and jewelry both fresh and exciting.
